Welcome back to all our pupils and staff for a new school year. We particularly welcome our new Junior Infants and we hope they will enjoy their time with us here in Holy Spirit BNS. We also welcome back Ms Clancy and Ms Leus, returning to us after career breaks.

Best of luck to all the boys who left us from 6th class last June as they get used to their new Secondary schools

Setanta Hurling Club are holding a family Fun Day this Sunday 7th September from 1pm to 4.30 pm . Everyone welcome.

Our GAA Football and Hurling coaches Shane and Paul will be returning also in the next couple of weeks to work with various classes throughout the school.

Our school Junior and Senior football teams will begin their Cumann na mBunscol matches during September.

Breakfast Club is on every school morning from 8.30 am for those who wish to join. Contact Mr Kelly for an application form.

The Incredible Years Parenting Programme returns also this year with a new course for Parents beginning on Wednesday 17th September. Contact our Home School Teacher Cathal O'Connell or Niamh in the office for further details

Sr. Catherine's Cookery Course for Parents will start on Wednesday 15th October for a 9 week programme leading up to Christmas. So for a chance to make a variety of items including your own Christmas Cake, drop your name into the office or contact Mr O'Connell if you wish to sign up.

Open evening in Trinity Comprehensive School for pupils enrolling in 2015 on Wednesday 24th September. An information pack from the Comprehensive is being sent home to all 6th class pupils this week.

Closing date for applications to St Aidan's CBS is Tuesday 30th September at 4 pm
